Ep 100. Acts Week 3: The Gospel Spreads (Women's Bible Study)

Welcome to Episode 100!  It's a busy week in our Acts Bible Study this week, and I'll confess right up front, I overestimated my ability to get through 7 chapters. But we move forward!

This week we see the appointment of the first deacons - the first ministry outside the teacher/preacher role. 

We witness the first martyr.  

We see the great persecution begin, which propels the gospel out from Jerusalem.

We see the witness of Christ spread to Judea and Samaria, just like Jesus instructed.

We see a Roman Centurian come to faith. 

And we witness the most dramatic conversion in the New Testament: Saul of Tarsus gets knocked off his feet.
